Since 1998, Partage Québec-Guinée has distributed books throughout the whole country. By the end of 2008, we will have reached each of the 33 prefectures as well as the five communes of Conakry.

While the national average at the elementary level is one school book per four children, PQG has succeeded, with the help of its partners and volunteers, in distributing an average of two books per five educated Guineans in every corner of Guinea.

COMPUTERS

In the meantime, by sending computers to Guinea, we are contributing to the creation of computer training centers. The purpose of these centers is to make Microsoft Office accessible to secondary school students.

1. A first training center has been set up at the Hamdallaye Group of Schools in the commune of Ratoma in Conakry.

2. wo more centers, one at the Lycée M’Bow and the other one at the community centre in Kamsar have been put in place with the invaluable help of Guy Dubois and Alpha Keita then both employed by the CBG in Kamsar.
